The Alternative and Complementary Veterinary Centers of New York.
|
Ansonia Veterinary Center was founded in 1987 by Dr Philip Freedman, Dr. Howard Kessler, and Dr Gene Nesbit. It quickly became one of the premier veterinary centers in New York City, employing 6 veterinarians, 40 staff members, and was servicing thousands and thousands of clients and patients at it's peak. Eventually, this being New York City, the rent and expenses on the stand alone building on West 75st became unmanageable, and Dr Freedman, who was the sole owner in 2007, looked for other options. Because it can be so very hard to find a location in a residential area that is willing to have hospitalized animals In September 2007, Ansonia Veterinary Center shut it's doors, and reopened them the next day in the newly merged entity of Riverside Veterinary Group/Ansonia Animal Hospital! |
